Nagin lake

Dal lake is divided by embankments into four parts -

• Gagribal

• Lakut-dal

• Bod-dal

• Nagin lake

Nagin lake lies to the east of the city at the foot of the Zabarwan Mountain.

The Shankaracharya hill is to the south and Hari Parbat on its west side. It is smaller than the main Dal lake and is surrounded by willow and poplar trees and provides shikara rides. It is like a mirror with the snowy covered mountains reflected in the lake.
